An entrepreneurial Maidstone mum has launched Keystone Virtual – a virtual assistant business offering premium administrative, organisation and marketing support to time-poor local entrepreneurs and small businesses. An accomplished PA in marketing communications, Carly Stringer founded the business earlier this month and already supports a wide variety of clients – with an architect, leadership coach and PR start-up already benefitting from the offer.
Carly said, “Entrepreneurs and small businesses eventually reach a tipping point whereby their workload becomes too much, but they can’t afford to hire an employee to support them, or the logistics of doing so are unfeasible or overwhelming. This leaves them stretched, stressed and unable to focus on the key priority of growing their business. Working with a virtual assistant is the ideal solution in these situations. We can provide flexible support and hit the ground running, without the additional costs or hassles that come with hiring a permanent member of staff.”
Although Carly works with a range of business, she specialises in supporting those in the creative and communication sectors. Prior to launching Keystone Virtual, she worked for a leading global healthcare communications consultancy in Richmond-Upon-Thames. During her eight years with the agency, she took on demanding roles including executive assistance for the two CEOs and Executive Board, leading the agency’s marketing efforts and supporting with new business development, social media management and internal communications.
Carly added, “I set up Keystone Virtual whilst still working permanently and caring for my two young children, so I can absolutely empathise with busy business owners. Kent has a booming small business community and I’m looking forward to using my expertise to help them thrive. I pride myself on having a proactive approach, always thinking one step ahead and identifying ways in which businesses can work smarter to achieve more.”
Keystone Virtual offers a range of administrative and marketing services, including traditional executive assistance, data mining and internet research, document development and design, website development and maintenance, and social media support.
In her spare time, Carly is a keen runner and regularly participates in the Maidstone Park Run. In 2016, she ran in the Mote Park Race for Life 10K, raising over £500 for Cancer Research UK.
