The 55-year-old spent more than 30 years working in the plastics moulding industry before seizing the opportunity to fulfil his long-held ambition of becoming his own boss.
Jason, from Maidstone, was inspired to invest in the franchise following a previous conversation with someone already in the oven cleaning trade.
“The idea really appealed to me,” he said. “It stayed in the back of my mind, and when redundancy came along, it felt like the perfect moment to take control of my career and life. The business has huge potential to grow in the future while giving me the ability to achieve a better work-life balance.”

The Ovenu process involves dismantling key components such as the door, interior panels, fan, and shelves and placing them in design-registered tank equipment, which uses safe, non-caustic and biodegradable products to clean the parts, leaving the oven in near showroom condition. In addition to conventional ovens, it also covers hobs, extractor hoods, microwaves, together with range cookers and ovens.
