Artemis Marketing has been recognised in The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2025 list. This prestigious accolade, based exclusively on direct employee feedback, reflects our unwavering commitment to creating an outstanding workplace culture where every team member can flourish.
The Sunday Times Best Places to Work programme is renowned for its rigorous evaluation process, assessing companies across multiple dimensions of employee experience. We work with numerous businesses across Kent and Sussex, and we’re proud to contribute to this region’s growing reputation as a destination for ambitious professionals and innovative companies.
What makes Artemis a “Best Place to Work”?
To achieve recognition as one of the best places to work, companies need to score well across six areas: rewards and recognition, instilling pride, information sharing, empowerment, wellbeing and job satisfaction. Artemis achieved an ‘excellent’ employee engagement score, averaging 94% across all categories.
What makes this award particularly meaningful is that it stems directly from employees. The Sunday Times Best Places to Work evaluation is built on honest, anonymous feedback from team members across all levels of the organisation. Their responses have painted a clear picture of a company where collaboration thrives, innovation is encouraged, and personal development is actively supported.
Leadership is crucial to fostering an environment of trust and transparency. Great leadership isn’t about commanding from the top—it’s about creating the conditions where brilliant people can do their best work. Artemis’ Managing Director, Mike Knivett, said of the recognition:
“This award has been a long-standing goal of mine, and it’s a powerful recognition of how far we’ve come as a company. Just 13 years ago, Artemis was simply me and a desk in Haywards Heath. Today, we’re a thriving team, and that transformation is entirely down to the incredible people I’m lucky to work with every day. I’m immensely proud of what we’ve achieved together. Huge thanks to the whole team for the amazing feedback and being such a big part of this journey.”
The impact of a great workplace culture
The benefits of a great workplace culture are diverse. For staff, it’s an environment that leads to higher job satisfaction, accelerated personal growth, and clearer pathways for career progression. When employees feel genuinely supported and valued in their role, they bring their best selves to work every day, which results in more innovation, creativity, and productivity.
From a business perspective, a positive culture within the team has a direct impact on client relationships and the customer service the company delivers. Engaged employees are more collaborative and more committed to exceeding client expectations. The energy and passion that our team brings to every project is palpable, and our clients consistently comment on the enthusiasm and expertise of our staff.
