Another IP in the mix enhances Opus’ capacity to deliver end-to-end advisory and insolvency services across the South East

Opus Business Advisory Group is proud to announce that Director Mark Boast has been awarded his Insolvency Practitioner (IP) licence, an important milestone in a career spanning nearly two decades in the restructuring and insolvency industry.
Mark joined Opus in 2022, bringing with him a wealth of experience in complex cases, cross-border matters, and advisory-led work. Based in the Croydon office, he supports businesses nationally, with a particular focus on London, the South East, and the Home Counties, offering strategic advice on turnaround, restructuring, and formal insolvency procedures. With his new IP status, Mark is now formally authorised to take appointments, providing clients with a seamless, end-to-end service during some of their most challenging moments.
Since starting in insolvency, he has worked his way up through the industry, developing specialist expertise and a reputation for delivering solutions in an array of complex scenarios. His career has been shaped not just by technical competence but by a deep commitment to learning, adaptability, and a strong belief in finding the right outcomes for all stakeholders.
“It’s exciting to finally have the licence in hand,” said Mark. “I’ve been advising on cases for many years, and this now means I can take full ownership from start to finish. I’m incredibly grateful to the Opus team, who championed me from my very first day. I’m proud to be part of a business that supports its people, invests in development, and puts clients first.”
Tim Dolder, Managing Partner at Opus, added: “Mark’s promotion to licensed IP is a testament to both his capability and his character. We’re delighted to see him achieve this milestone and are confident he’ll continue to be a key part of Opus’ growth and success.”
Mark’s appointment comes at a time of continued expansion for Opus, as the firm broadens its advisory services and invests in future talent across its national network.
