Tunbridge Wells, Kent (29 October 2021). For immediate release. The Mobility Furniture Company, believed to be the UK’s fastest growing mobility furniture company, announces the opening of its flagship store in the heart of Tunbridge Wells.

The store features the company’s key products – bespoke rise and recline chairs and adjustable beds – alongside stairlifts, mobility scooters, bathrooms and gardening products from carefully selected affiliate companies.

Serving as a gateway into the world of mobility furniture, the store celebrates its official grand opening with a two-day event to which key stakeholders, press and public are invited, on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 November 11am – 4.30pm.

Bryony Bell, Logistics and Retail Manager of The Mobility Furniture Company, comments:
“Our research shows that people with mobility issues want somewhere they can go to look at furniture and other items that can help them. There is no need for anyone to live in discomfort when there are many innovative and well-designed products that improve quality of life. Our shop and brilliant team will showcase these solutions.”

James Mitton, Managing Director of The Mobility Furniture Company comments: “Tunbridge Wells is the ideal site for our first shop. Our stylish yet practical furniture fits in with the town’s elegant and welcoming atmosphere. The shop’s location, directly opposite Crescent Road carpark, means it can maximise on footfall to the area.”

Research* has shown that rise and recline chairs and adjustable beds, particularly when made to measure, can improve some symptoms of many medical conditions, from poor circulation, arthritis and back pain to reflux, Parkinson’s and insomnia. The Mobility Furniture Company has great dialogue with its customers, making every effort to understand their needs and how to overcome them.
