The Chief Executive of a Swanley business has been awarded a top accolade in the Institute of Directors (IoD) London and the South Director of the Year Awards, supported by headline sponsor PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
David Byk, CEO of Swan Mill Paper Company, was named Director of the Year of a Company with a turnover of £10m-£59.99m.
Swan Mill Paper Company Limited is a market leader in the disposable tableware industry and manufactures products for the catering and retail sectors plus offers a design led range of wrapping paper, gift packaging, party products, Christmas crackers and decorations.
David Byk said: “It is a huge compliment for myself and everyone at Swan Mill to have won this award from such a prestigious business organisation.
“It is a validation of all the hard work, endeavours, entrepreneurialism and progress that we have made over the last few years in tough economic times and it is made even more meaningful in light of the strong competition for this award.
