Vertex Law has further strengthened its Employment Team with the appointment of Kayleigh Leonie.
The keen marathon runner, who specialised in employment law while working at her previous job with a law firm in Brighton, is experienced at drafting contractual documentation and employment-related policies.
In her new role, Kayleigh, 25, will be supporting senior members of the Vertex Law Employment Team as well as advising her own clients on matters such as disciplinary and grievance procedures, performance and ill-health capability, redundancy matters and the employment aspects of corporate transactions.
“Vertex has an excellent reputation as a forward-thinking, client-focused practice with real expertise in corporate and commercial work,” said Kayleigh. “I am delighted to have joined such a professional team and to be working for such a broad range of clients.”
Jonathan Simmons, Head of the Employment Team at Kings Hill-based Vertex Law, added:
“We are very pleased to have recruited Kayleigh and to have her on board as part of our growing team. The skills and experience she brings will help ensure we continue to provide a first rate service to clients.”
Kayleigh, who is originally from Jersey in the Channel Islands, studied law at the University of Brighton and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association. A keep-fit fan, she has twice run the Brighton Marathon and is also a keen cyclist.
