KENT SCIENCE PARK WELCOMES ANOTHER NEW TENANT

The company specialises in the analysis of pesticide residues in fresh produce, tea, food products and cereals, and is a welcome addition to the growing hub of food technology companies based on the Park.

QTS have made the move after being based at Lenham Heath for the last five years. QTS Analytical produce top rated pesticide testing services across a wide range of commodities and the bespoke laboratories at Kent Science Park will allow the business to continue to grow. This will permit testing of a much larger range of chemicals more efficiently. The commercial laboratory provides to a broad spectrum of customers from major import groups to those who require just a few samples tested a year.

Steve Gardner founded the company almost ten years ago and developed innovative technology to provide rapid analysis results turnaround, including same day testing on fresh produce. QTS Analytical is growing year-on-year, now employing ten full time members of staff and expanding their services to include illegal dye testing, and other due diligence analytical testing. The business does not base its work solely around analysis and also offers tailored due diligence solutions for the food industry. This includes site and farm audits and bespoke training programs specific to the business’ needs.

Sales Director, Julian Guanaria said: “We are delighted with the move as it will give us the ability to grow as a business.
