A care home in Kent took part in a countywide afternoon tea to celebrate the launch of the new Aria Care Group.
Colleagues and residents from Kippingtons Nursing Home in Sevenoaks, Sundridge Court Nursing Home in Bromley and Firtree House in Tunbridge Wells, enjoyed an afternoon tea party as it marked the occasion.
Aria Care has three homes in Kent and 50 in total across England, Scotland and Jersey, which all took part in the afternoon tea celebrations.
The group celebrated its official launch on Monday, 13th March at its head offices in Colchester, Essex, with an Alice in Wonderland-themed afternoon tea.
Homes across the group, including those in Kent, then joined in the celebrations with their own tea parties on Tuesday, 14th March, with sandwiches, scones and sweet treats.
The home was decorated for the party and entertainment was provided by local artists, including singer Annie Riley who performed for residents at Kippingtons.
Everyone at the homes were thrilled at the launch of the new Aria Care Group and enjoyed the tea parties.
Esther Appiah, home manager of Kippingtons, said “Our staff and residents enjoyed the tea party as they celebrated the launch of the new Aria Care Group. We look forward to what the new Aria Care holds in store for us in the future.”
Caroline Roberts, CEO of Aria Care, said: “The launch event was absolutely fantastic and everyone had so much fun. We are thrilled that our colleagues and residents across the country were able to join in with the celebrations too and hope everyone enjoyed their tea parties.
“Aria Care reflects our commitment to providing excellent care and delivering a quality lifestyle to the elderly people in our communities. We are delivering a service which our residents and families can trust. We feel our new motto, Care from the Heart, reflects this dedication.”
