Cloud21, part of the Austrian group x-tention, has announced that it will be creating 50 jobs to support growing client base.

Cloud21, which works with NHS bodies, specialises in services that support the adoption of digital health technology across health and social care to support the NHS in meeting a number of its national objectives.

It provides services to support the adoption of major clinical systems, expertise to help organisations achieve interoperability, and managed IT and cyber services and solutions.

The company, based in King’s Hill West Malling, works with NHS organisations across the UK. It is currently delivering services to NHS trusts and Integrated Care Systems to implement and integrate electronic health record technology, upgrade IT to better support NHS teams and vulnerability management services to improve cyber resilience.

The company plans to take on 50 staff over the coming year and will be looking to fill roles in cyber, IT infrastructure management, programme and project management, business analysis, system integration, and operations.

Tony Corkett, founder director, Cloud21 said, ‘The NHS has a number of national objectives to meet. More recently cyber, data and integrated care have come into focus. Due to this we are seeing an increase in demand for expertise and skills in delivering and supporting digital health and cyber technology that will enable health and social care organisations to meet these objectives.

‘The company is now at a stage of growth which will see us needing to scale our teams and processes to enable us to maintain high quality services to the NHS. This next phase of growth for Cloud21 is really exciting as we need to recruit across the business representing positive growth and opportunity for local communities.’

The investment in additional staff will support the company’s existing client base and contribute to the 40% targeted growth over the coming year.
