Visit Kent, has launched a new trade website specifically designed to help tour operators and group travel organisers plan trips to the Garden of England.
The multi-platform website, www.visitkent.co.uk/trade, provides all the essential information about group-friendly places to visit, and stay, refreshments options, new itineraries and coach parking. And Visit Kent is offering for the first time a bank of bookable wholesale packages for tour and group travel organisers.
The trade website aims to meet the growing demand from tour and group organisers keen to include Kent and its wealth of attractions in their programmes.
Holly Buggins, Visit Kent travel trade executive, said: “We are committed to meeting the requirements of the trade and our new website means we can to do this more effectively than ever before.
“We have divided the website into four key user-friendly sections – About Kent, Itineraries, Plan Trips to Kent and Useful Information.
“The new Bookable Tours and Packages feature also allows users to search and book group packages from a range of established providers. It also offers tour operators and wholesalers new opportunities to promote their Kent tours and products.”
The tour and group organisers’ website is part of Visit Kent’s new consumer website which has been recognised as Best in Class (Tourism and Travel) in the internationally-acclaimed Interactive Media Awards (IMA).
The website, microsites and webpages are designed to work across all platforms from mobile phones and tablets to laptops and desktop computers.
