New Village Manager Appointed At Ledian Gardens Retirement Village

Ledian Gardens, a later living community near Maidstone, Kent, has appointed Albert Sinfield as its new village manager.

Albert has 15 years’ experience in various leisure and hospitality settings, including various job roles within numerous golf clubs and 5* venues. Albert worked for Marriott Hotels for nearly 10 years before taking on his most recent role as General Manager for Redlibbets Golf Club in Sevenoaks, a non-profit club owned by charity, Get Golfing.

Operated by later living provider Inspired Villages, Ledian Gardens is set in the idyllic Kent countryside and historic village of Leeds, near Maidstone, and is set to open later this summer. Once phase 1 of the development is complete, the village will consist of 66 retirement properties, as well as a village centre, including a swimming pool, spa, gym, restaurant and shop.

As a local to the area, Albert has witnessed the construction of the village site from the ground up and was instantly intrigued when the village manager position arose. Albert was drawn to the vast opportunities that this brand-new site will provide in terms of setting the standards and quality of service at the village.

Albert is looking forward to helping create the Ledian Gardens’ village community, with plans to raise awareness of the village’s incredible facilities to the wider surrounding area. Working collaboratively alongside his village team, Albert has high hopes that Ledian Gardens will become the heart and centre of the village of Leeds and create strong friendship grounds throughout.

Albert comments: “We aim to set high standards, offering our residents a fantastic way of life. The village will have a full calendar of activities both on-site and off-site.

“We are lucky to live within walking distance to the historic Leeds Castle and we have already built a good friendship. This will allow our residents and their family members to have the opportunity to enjoy the surrounding local heritage, as well as become part of the Leeds Village history.”

In addition to Albert, Inspired Villages has made several new hires to the village team, including: Spencer Winter, Head Chef; Rebecca Dyer, Food & Beverage Supervisor; Karoline Wyrobisz, Front Office Administrator and Ferdinand Bakoshi, Night Porter.

Jamie Bunce, CEO of Inspired Villages, comments: “We are happy to welcome Albert to the team at Ledian Gardens and look forward to seeing the plans he has for the village come to fruition as the village’s residency grows. Albert’s experience within leisure and hospitality, combined with his knowledge of the local area will make him an excellent addition to the Inspired Villages team.”

To mark the official opening of Ledian Gardens, the team will be hosting a jam packed ‘Refreshers Week’ from Tuesday 2nd – Thursday 4th August 2022with an incredible series of events which will showcase everything on offer at the village and provide an insight into the Inspired way of life.
