Moos – The First British Content Provider Is Launched

The search for good content to use on company social media feeds is now much easier thanks to a new service called moos.

Unlike other news aggregators, Moos uses only quality British news sources and British English as opposed to North American English. While all the content is written and originates from the UK, it could be about absolutely anything and about any country.

Moos is the brainchild of Kent-based social media expert Sue Harbottle-Sear and owner of award-winning agency Konzepts. Sue realised there is a huge need for a UK content provider when she was struggling to find quality content for her own clients. Sue has joined forces with technical expert Dominic Potts to develop the service.

Subscriptions start at just £14.50 per month and the service includes access to a photo library of original photos mostly taken in the UK. The library features, among others, a large collection of insect and flowers that are royalty free for moos subscribers to use for any marketing purposes.

Tabloids and publications with paywalls have been excluded where possible. The site is advert free and there are no data harvested to sell to third parties. Moos is web and app based – to make it easy for users to access content on whichever platform they choose.

Sue explains: “The project has been under development for several years and we are incredibly excited to be able to officially launch moos.

“Social media management is a fast-growing area and there are thousands of digital marketeers working in-house for companies, for digital agencies or freelance who will benefit from everything moos has to offer.”

Moos Co-Founder Dominic Potts added: “Sue has incredible energy and spirit which made me keen to work with her. When she explained her idea, it was like a ‘lightbulb moment’ as, like Sue, I spend a lot of time searching for content and inspiration for my own clients while working for EaziApps . There is a US-bias to lots of news which is why moos is badly needed.”

Moos offers the best and easiest way to sift through the large amount of news that is published every hour.

The moos team has curated the content into the most popular headings to suit a wide variety of users – creating a single location for all the information you might need.

British clients prefer UK-based content as it is easier for them to relate to and the vocabulary will be familiar to them. This is particularly important for marketeers who manage social media feeds on behalf of clients, are a social media manager or post for their own business.

moos offers a 14 day free trial giving access to 27 categories, 178 sources and more than 5,000 pages which are continually growing. You can sign up here
