NEW ACQUISITION ENABLES PINDEN TO OFFER NATIONWIDE ASBESTOS SERVICE

pinden-kentPinden Ltd is now able to offer a full collection and disposal service across the whole of the UK, following its acquisition of Asbestos Waste Solutions (AWS). The move is a logical progression for the two companies which have worked closely together for many years.

Pinden will invest in all AWS services to build on and extend its current level of success. Pinden is one of the largest waste management and recycling businesses in Kent and provides a fully-licensed asbestos landfill operation at its site near Dartford. AWS is a leading disposer of asbestos waste and offers skip hire, van collection, and waste transfer facilities from a convenient location near the M25 in Essex.

“Together, Pinden and AWS can now offer customers across the country an integrated asbestos collection and disposal service. We are two of the most respected names in the industry for safe, reliable operations and excellent customer service,” said Michael Bishop, Pinden Manager.

Samantha Morris, who set up AWS and will be continuing her role there, added: “We are very pleased that Pinden has invested into AWS. We are excited about the potential capabilities we will be able to offer existing and new customers and will continue to adapt and expand our services to continue to meet the needs of our customers.”

AWS is a licensed asbestos waste transfer station offering easy access from the M25 and A13. It provides a cost-effective disposal option for asbestos removal and demolition companies, covering collection service, WAC testing and soil screening, as well as a full range of open and secure lockable skips for asbestos and construction waste.
