Kitchen retailer Kutchenhaus is set to open a new showroom in Hythe, Kent, providing stylish German-designed bespoke kitchens and will invite the public to celebrate the opening at a launch event in June.
The showroom on the High Street will officially open its doors on 11th June at 10am, welcoming residents from Hythe, Rye, Dymchurch, Folkestone, Sandgate and surrounding areas. The launch event will provide the public and local businesses the chance to visit the showroom and find out more about the high quality displays.
The business is owned by Jake Ford, who began his career in property development before focusing specifically on the kitchen industry. It will be his second showroom, alongside the first in Ashford which opened in September 2020 and has grown rapidly.
The building boasts 1,250 square feet of retail space, four full kitchen displays, a bathroom display and two office displays. Ranges available include the popular ‘Riva’ and ‘Easytouch’ in fjord blue as well as appliances from brands such as AEG, Bosch and Siemens. Initially, there will be three members of staff in the team covering customer services and kitchen design, with plans in place to employ an installation manager and lead taker in due course.
Kutchenhaus is a franchise business and recently celebrated reaching a milestone of 50 showrooms after opening 15 in 2021. It is owned by Nobilia, Europe’s largest kitchen manufacturer and provides stylish, German designed ranges which are built to last following 70 years of technology and product development. Every kitchen is bespoke, with Kutchenhaus designers offering innovative solutions for any requirements a customer has.
Jake Ford, owner of Kutchenhaus in Hythe, commented on the opening: “The team has worked extremely hard to open our new showroom taking two months to transform the space and so we can’t wait to welcome customers through the doors to see the contemporary kitchens we have on display. We’re located in a prominent spot on the High Street where other local businesses have been supportive since we have moved in.
“After taking the gamble and opening our first showroom in Ashford during the height of the pandemic, we have grown rapidly in the local area. This success means that now feels like the right time to open a second showroom as there is a big demand in the region for high quality kitchens.”
Sean Ford, national head of sales and operations for Kutchenhaus, said: “After his success over the past two years in Ashford, it is fantastic to see Jake open up a second showroom in Hythe which offers local customers the opportunity to plan and design their dream kitchen. We wish him all the best for the future and are looking forward to seeing the showroom progress.”
