Faversham law firm Tassells Solicitors has been named ‘Probate Law Firm of the Year: Boutique’ at the Probate Industry Awards 2025. In addition, the firm’s Practice Manager Gemma Stebbeds was Highly Commended in the ‘Unsung Hero’ award category.
Now in its seventh year, the Probate Industry Awards brings together leading private client legal professionals to celebrate excellence and innovation within the sector.
The awards judges assessed submissions based on excellence in client service, technical expertise, innovation, and overall contribution to raising standards in probate practice. Tassells was praised by the judges for successfully demonstrating a commitment to “modernising their efforts” and for the team’s “willingness to support staff and clients.”

Tassells Solicitors was established in 1792 in Faversham, Kent. In April 2023, Alexandra Gordon joined the firm, becoming Managing Partner and sole owner from 1October 2024. In 2024, Alexandra was named ‘Managing Partner of the Year‘ at the Modern Law Private Client Awards.
