Crowe UK, the leading audit, tax, advisory and risk firm, is pleased to announce it has acquired Kent-based accounting firm Dendy Neville.
Dendy Neville’s current team of 18 specialists provides clients with a range audit, tax, accounting support and advisory services. The Dendy Neville team will bolster Crowe’s existing presence in Kent, where it has offices in Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells. Crowe welcomes three new partners as part of the move.
Crowe and Dendy Neville have a strong professional and cultural fit with a long working history, having collaborated on a number of projects over more than 20 years.
David Hill, Andrew Perkins and Paul Gittins join Crowe as partners. David is an audit and business solutions specialist with nearly 40 years of audit, accounts and tax experience. He has considerable expertise in assisting owner-managed businesses, SMEs, startups, UK subsidiaries of international groups, law firms and private clients.
Andrew Perkins also becomes a new audit and business solutions partner, supporting a wide range of clients including SMEs and high-net worth individuals across a variety of industries including construction, manufacturing, retail and technology. He brings considerable experience, having spent over 35 years in public practice.
Paul Gittins, who has been with Dendy Neville for 14 years following a 10-year stint at a Big Four firm, becomes Crowe’s newest tax partner. He works with a diverse range of clients including private individuals, owner-managed businesses and international corporate groups on a range of tax matters.
Nigel Bostock, Chief Executive, Crowe, said:
“This acquisition is an important step in our growth strategy and expands our footprint in the Kent region. It is pleasing to see that Dendy Neville has chosen to partner with Crowe as an alternative to private equity investment, trusting Crowe as the best home for their people and clients going forward.
Strengthening our regional presence with a team of highly regarded local professionals supplements the strong organic growth we continue to see across the firm.”
Mark Anderson, Kent Office Managing Partner, said:
“This business combination is a very positive step forward for the presence of the Crowe brand in Kent, with a more significant footprint in our local geographic market. Our new colleagues will provide further depth to our existing team, bringing expertise and a matching focus on excellent client service. We’re delighted to welcome them all to the local and national Crowe team.”
David Hill, Director, Dendy Neville, said:
“We have worked closely with Crowe Kent for over 20 years and have known some of the Kent partners for much longer. Joining forces with Crowe seemed a natural progression in light of our common commitment to high standards in client support.
Importantly, joining Crowe offers an enlarged team able to fulfil clients’ needs, and wider service offerings – including corporate finance, corporate recovery, specialist and international tax matters, as well as access to Crowe’s international network of offices.”
