POSITIVE START PROVIDES BACKDROP FOR B2B SHOWS

Jo-James2015 is off to a positive start with figures from the British Chamber of Commerce forecasting a healthy 2.5% growth in the economy over the next 12 months. With the General Election a few short months away the BCC and many others are lobbying the main political parties to bring about real change following the election and help small businesses continue to sustain this growth.

Kent Chamber supports businesses across the county

The Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce is also committed to enabling Kent businesses to develop and grow by supporting the needs of its members and the wider business community. As such it has recently announced “The Best of Kent Shows”, its exhibition and conference programme, for 2015. These events have been carefully developed to offer firms an innovative and practical way to connect with new businesses and develop existing relationships.

The events comprise an exhibition that hosts firms from the local and regional area, alongside a full conference programme that offers keynote speakers as well as workshops. Each of the four regional events is carefully curated to offer businesses the maximum value with the conference programme focussing on practical, implementable advice that helps businesses make a difference immediately. Running throughout the year the first of the “Best of Kent Shows” is the West Kent B2B at the River Centre in Tonbridge on the 27th March.

West Kent B2B is back

Leading business speakers confirmed for the West Kent B2B include Justin Urquhart Stewart David Taylor and Hilary Steele. Justin is a renowned market commentator who has followed the ups and downs of the market over the last few years and will share his insight. David is a renowned social media speaker and trainer and he will be looking at the digitally savvy customer in 2015, whilst Hilary will look at making the most of change – how an entrepreneurial spirit will enable you to handle change in a new and rewarding way.

Returning for the second year as the headline sponsors across the four “Best of Kent Shows” is Caxtons, one of the largest independent property consultants in Kent. Jo James, the Chief Executive of the Chamber, comments “We are pleased to welcome Caxtons as our headline sponsor once more. With a wide range of new and established firms looking to exhibit the event will draw businesses from across the county and the UK, this year’s event is shaping up to be a great mix of inspirational speakers, exhibitors, masses of networking opportunities and workshops. I look forward to welcoming businesses from across West Kent and the wider county to an informative, practical day.”
