A Maidstone housebuilder and contractor has made a prestigious national league table of the fastest growing private companies for the second year running.
Chartway Group has come 65th in The Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 league table after its average sales growth over the past three years hit 58.6 per cent.
As well as building new homes under its Westerhill Homes division, Chartway Group also works for housing associations across Kent.
The company specialises in sourcing brownfield land, obtaining planning permission, designing and building homes, as well as running its own plastering and drylining businesses.
Turnover for the company, which was founded by Ian Savage and Philip Cunningham in 2009, has grown from £5.5m in 2011 to £21.8m in 2014.
Ian Savage, Managing Director of Chartway Group, said: “To make the Fast Track 100 two years in a row is testament to the hard work of every one of our 86-strong team, our contract team and suppliers.
“While we’ve kept a close eye on the financial management of the company, we’ve also focused on understanding the needs of our customers and always delivering for them”
“The outlook for the company in 2015 looks positive with further growth anticipated.”
Chartway Group will receive its 2014 trophy in May at an event held at Richard Branson’s Oxfordshire family home. Fast Track 100 is compiled by Fast Track and published in The Sunday Times each December.
