TOP MARKS AS BRADLEY GROUP PUPIL IS BEST IN THE COUNTRY

BG-Jan-and-EricaA student of The Bradley Group has received the highest marks of anyone across the whole of the UK in the NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety. Erica Moore, who works for Amphenol in Whitstable, received 89% for the qualification, which comprises a mixture of written and practical assessments.

The Bradley Group, who offer consultancy and training in risk management and health and safety, are accredited by NEBOSH as one of the leading course providers in the country. The company has seen sustained growth at Kent Science Park since its tenancy commenced in 2002 and now employs seven staff and a large group of associates.

Because of her achievement, Erica was presented with a top candidate award at the NEBOSH graduation and awards ceremony at the University of Warwick. This recognises the high academic standard achieved by participants on the Diploma course, as well as presenting awards to the most successful candidates for the other qualifications.

Erica commented on the value of her training at The Bradley Group, “The team at The Bradley Group was instrumental in helping me prepare for the exams and I couldn’t have done it without them. It is a grueling task to revise whilst continuing your day job, which makes it even more rewarding to do so well. It was an honour to attend the graduation ceremony and I can’t thank The Bradley Group enough for helping me get there!”

Jan Mills, Managing Director at The Bradley Group, explained what the results mean to the company, “I am so pleased for Erica. NEBOSH are notoriously difficult qualifications and it is an amazing achievement to receive the top marks, especially when holding down a job at the same time. This is the first time we have provided tuition to the best candidate in the UK and it is fantastic recognition of the hard work put in by the team here. I especially must thank Erica’s tutor, Abi, who is consistently producing great results for us. Our pass rate is always much higher than the national average and this cements our status as experts in health and safety and risk management training. I hope that Erica decides to stay on with us and complete her diploma too!

The Bradley Group have added several NEBOSH courses to their offering in recent years and have seen a great deal of the success from candidates on the courses. The national pass rate of the NEBOSH Diploma is only 40%, whereas the pass rate of Bradley Group students is much higher at 67%. They continue to add NEBOSH courses to the calendar in addition to those from other providers.
