Chair of the Judging Panel, Susan Jennings, Partner and Head of Corporate at law firm Furley Page, said: “Having now been running for nearly 40 years, the annual Medway Business Awards are an opportunity to highlight and celebrate the region’s top business talent, and recognise the pioneering companies that are creating employment opportunities and contributing to economic growth in the area.

“It is fantastic that the Awards can be held again this year after a two-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We had some fantastic entries this year and very much enjoyed meeting the finalists, who should all be very proud to have made it through to the final. The winning businesses will be announced at the gala dinner in early September, which promises to be a true celebration of business in Medway.”

As legal advisers to numerous businesses in the area, Furley Page is a proud sponsor of the Medway Business Awards alongside fellow sponsors: Kreston Reeves, Uniper, Medway Council, Handeslbanken, MidKent College, Kent Business School, University of Greenwich, National Grid, Countryside Properties and Medway Messenger

Susan added: “Sponsoring the Medway Business Awards is a natural fit for Furley Page, which has one of the most highly experienced corporate teams in the South East and has an office at Chatham Dockyard. It also gives the firm a great insight into what Medway businesses have to offer, and judging from the quality of this year’s entries, there is much to celebrate!”
