8point3, the Dartford based designer and manufacturer of LED lighting systems for commercial and industrial clients, will be spreading its energy efficiency message into northern Europe next month.
The company has been invited by Kent County Council and Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce to join them in exhibiting at Envrionord, a major environment solutions exhibition held annually in Lille, and which takes place from June 4-6.
“The Nord-Pas-de-Calais region is renowned for its commitment to sustainable economic development and Environord is one of the biggest events of its type in northern Europe,” said Ashley Bateup, Managing Director of 8point3, which is based at SusCon.
“To be invited to exhibit gives us a great opportunity to demonstrate some of our product range to an entirely new but knowledgeable market on the other side of the Channel.”
Replacing traditional lighting fixtures with quality LED fittings can save companies between 50-80 per cent on electricity bills for lighting. 8point3 also often manufactures totally bespoke products for its clients, meaning it can carry out like-for-like replacements with a minimum of disruption to a business’s operations.
It also offers full, tailored project funding to both public and private sector organisations. This negates capital outlay and makes the transition to LED a much more attractive and manageable proposition for many clients.
