LATEST DEVELOPMENT COMPLETED AT HERMITAGE COURT

Hermitage-CourtOptimism at Hermitage Court, the business park close to Junction 5 of the M20, is on a high after construction work on the latest speculative office development was completed, with the development now ready to welcome another occupier.

The latest office building at Hermitage Court, which is close to Barming railway station on the outskirts of Maidstone, has just been completed by Gallagher Properties, the commercial development team of the Gallagher Group. The completion follows the recent pre-letting of another speculative office building at the development to Havas Shared Services Ltd.

The 5,150ft2 building, finished to a Grade A specification, can be home to a single business or up to four smaller companies, all on a leasehold basis, and is ready to be fitted out to the specification of the occupiers.

Stephen Gallagher of Gallagher Properties said: “With it being little over a mile from the motorway, Hermitage Court offers easy access to London, the M25, Ashford and the Channel ports, making it perfectly placed to satisfy businesses looking for a highly efficient location and great environment for their employees.

“With the upturn in the economy strengthening and the Maidstone area continuing to punch above its weight in terms of business growth, we have seen significant interest across our property portfolio. We are confident that this latest building at Hermitage Court will soon be home to one, or more companies.”

With an attractive design, including a high quality, low maintenance, cladding system, the building’s exterior also incorporates Kentish Ragstone produced by Gallagher Aggregates from the nearby Hermitage Quarry.

Businesses moving into Hermitage Court will join Kent Community NHS Trust, MCCH, SECOM and most recent arrival Havas Shared Services Ltd, a subsidiary of Havas, one of the world’s largest global advertising, digital and communications groups, with its headquarters in Paris.
