FURLEY PAGE LAUNCHES TWO FIXED FEE EMPLOYMENT LAW SUPPORT SERVICES

Leading South East law firm Furley Page has launched two new dedicated fixed fee employment law support services to businesses and organisations.

Provided by specialists from the firm’s highly regarded Employment Law team, the products – ‘Employment Gold’ and ‘Employment Platinum’ – will provide cost-certainty for employers when dealing with employment issues and planning for the future.

Employment Gold is a comprehensive service which will suit all organisations and cover all typical employment needs, including advice from a designated Employment Law specialist, preparation of documents relating to grievance, disciplinary and capability procedures, Employment Data Protection support and Insurance-backed Employment Tribunal defence costs.

Meanwhile, Employment Platinum includes additional ‘bolt-ons’ to tailor the support package, such as Health and Safety audits and Insurance against breach of restrictive covenants, as well as an agreed number of half or full day training sessions on topics including treatment of others, disciplinary investigations; and disciplinary and performance management.

In addition, all Employment Gold and Employment Platinum clients will receive preferential rates for a range of complementary services including collective redundancies, TUPE advice, tailored training sessions, advice about employment status, business immigration support and defending or pursuing appeals against Employment Tribunal judgements.

Employment Gold and Employment Platinum are provided by experts from Furley Page’s highly regarded Employment Team, which is recommended by the independent legal guides Chambers UK and The Legal 500

Andrew Masters, Partner and Head of Employment Law at Furley Page, said: “We decided to launch this new service as a direct response to demand coming from our clients. Employment Gold and Employment Platinum are open to all the firm’s business clients, not just our existing employment law clients. We really see this new service as an extension of our existing Employment Law services, which will add value and give peace of mind to our clients.”

Employment law specialist Tessa Robinson manages the fixed fee employment law scheme. She said: “The two products provide some great benefits at a very affordable rate. The service is tailored to the employment needs of specific organisations, while the fixed fee model provides certainty to businesses when planning costs.

“Annual membership will also save businesses time when seeking advice on employment law issues, as they will have a dedicated employment law specialist to support them.”
