Crowe Clark Whitehill has appointed Christopher Jones to head up its Business Solutions Group in Kent.
With more than 10 years’ experience in general practice, Christopher is based at the leading national audit, tax and advisory firm’s Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells offices, overseeing a team of eight providing accountancy and business related services to companies of all sizes.
Having previously worked at a London firm dealing with a large portfolio of clients and enhancing his commercial awareness and skills, Christopher moved to Kent to fulfil his wish to look after smaller, owner-managed businesses.
He said: “I wanted to get back to general practice and I chose Crowe Clark Whitehill because they are a leading partner led national firm. Here I can really add value to clients; the service we provide is much more advice driven rather than compliance driven. We are able to provide direct access to expertise, helping businesses through all the steps of trading.
“The Business Solutions Group provides a wide range of services, offering clients access to skills and expertise that a lot of small business do not have in-house. Being in business can be challenging and the cost of having in house expertise is not a viable option for most businesses.”
Crowe Clark Whitehill can provide support with financial functions and reporting requirements, allowing clients to concentrate on their trading activity and overall reducing their overhead expenses. These services include bookkeeping, payroll administration, tax compliance, VAT, year-end accounts preparation, business advice and audit.
Keith Newman, Kent managing partner for Crowe Clark Whitehilll, commented: “Christopher is an excellent addition to our team, bringing the experience and values that will really benefit our clients. He has a genuine desire to help companies which is what the Business Solutions Group is all about.”
Originally from Wales where he started out in a regional practice, Christopher has relocated from London to Shipbourne, which is situated between Crowe Clark Whitehill’s Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells offices.
