Black Ox Ltd, publishers of The Business Magazine, has bolstered its creative content wing with the acquisition of branded video production firm Sightline. The acquisition of the Guildford-based company, which specialises in producing corporate videos, was completed at the start of this month for an undisclosed fee and increases the services that Black Ox Ltd can offer its B2B client base. All Sightline staff, including founder Keith Thomas and senior editor Ashley Kitchen, will join Black Ox Ltd. Richard Thompson MD of Black Ox Ltd said: “The operation dovetails perfectly into our existing operations. “We are delighted to have secured a deal for this top video production house and look forward to offering our client list top tier production facilities to assist their online and in-person operations. “We are also looking forward to offering the existing Sightline client base more value and networking capabilities. “This addition to the Black Ox Ltd group means we can offer clients a complete media service while also opening the door to many new business possibilities when it comes to the events aspect of what we do.” Sightline was founded in 1986 and has built a strong industry reputation for the quality of its video productions alongside the service that it provides to its UK-wide clients. Sightline’s work spans many sectors including videos for the NHS, BAM, Amazon, UK Civil Service, RugDoctor, numerous councils and housing organisations, and a number of the country’s top universities. Founder of Sightline, Keith Thomas, said: “We are very much looking forward to joining Black Ox and working with the team. “The key to developing and growing our client base has been down to our ‘can do’ attitude. “If a client comes to us with a request then the team will creatively come up with solutions for how it can be achieved. “We have also developed trust with clients in that they trust us to deliver and work with the people that they work with.” Black Ox Ltd is a subsidiary of Branscombe Group, a private family owned company, which unites forward thinking media businesses and supports their growth ambitions. Black Ox Ltd acquired The Business Magazine in March last year and offers B2B clients creative content solutions and access to valuable networking opportunities through its listings programmes and events. |
