GIVEAWAYS ADD GREAT FLAVOURS TO AUTUMN GATAWAYS

visit-kentLondoners and city visitors are being enticed to spend an autumn break in the Garden of England with fine foods and a feast of special offers on trains and places to stay.

And, in keeping with tradition, varieties of freshly-picked apples will take pride of place amongst an array of tasty Kent temptations being offered at St Pancras International station from Monday, September 23, to Sunday, September 29.

The county’s tourism champions at Visit Kent have joined forces with the local food specialists at Produced in Kent, HS1, Southeastern, a wealth of visitor attractions and accommodation providers to encourage people to take the train out of the capital for a relaxing autumn weekend away.

“HS1 is hosting our week-long promotion at St Pancras International and its popular Sourced Market, dedicated to the finest of local produce, is providing a special offer for Kent weekend break travellers to enjoy before, after or during their journey

“Southeastern is also including travel on its high-speed service with special offer “Weekender” tickets throughout October and November.

“Travellers will be able to take advantage of our wide range of 2FOR1 offers for entry to visitor attractions and other experiences, as well as exceptional offers on accommodation, across Kent.

“Throughout our promotion week at St Pancras International, we will be handing out information about all the special events across the county, the great places to visit and where they can enjoy real Kent produce – including a Kent Breakfast.”

The autumn weekend breaks campaign will include special pages and links on the Visit Kent website, www.visitkent.co.uk, highlighting special events, more offers and details of nearby attractions and must-see destinations for visitors to different parts of the county.
