Pinden Ltd, a long-established skip hire and recycling business based in Dartford, has expanded into Maidstone to provide a more efficient service for homes and businesses across East Kent. Already one of the biggest skip hire businesses in Kent, Pinden has taken over an existing operation in Detling, increasing the size of its operations immediately by another 30 per cent.
“We have made considerable investment in our Dartford recycling operations over the years and have an enviable reputation as a professional and reliable skip hire operator with a commitment to zero waste to landfill,” explained Pinden Manager, Michael Bishop.
“Our expansion into Maidstone enables us to cut down on distances travelled by our lorries which is better for the environment, while still offering 100 per cent waste recycling and our prompt, efficient service.”
Pinden Ltd, which is a family-owned business, segregates and recycles construction waste, timber, green waste and soil at its Dartford site. In Maidstone, waste will be sorted and consolidated before being taken to Dartford for recycling. Pinden intends to invest in a new recycling capability at its Maidstone site to create a high-tech facility.
“Pinden, and our associated brand of Pinbins, are already well known across East Kent and this exciting development gives us the opportunity to broaden our operations and our customer base,” said Michael Bishop.
